FS: Yamaha Magic Stomp

Yamaha Magicstomp multieffects/amp modeller. Like-new condition, it's only been used a couple of times at home - never actually been stomped upon. Includes box, manual, CD-ROM, USB cable, power supply.

The Magicstomp has a full array of Yamaha effects, plus amp models and cabinet sims. It's really heavy-duty, like a good stomp box should be. Its one failing is the control interface - its minimal number of buttons and knobs makes it difficult to program. It's great for a studio where you have a computer handy - the included software lays out the parameters and makes programming much easier.

The amp models through the headphone output make this a great late-night practice amp.

It would also be good as a do-it-all swiss-army stompbox to augment your normal pedals.

Special forum-only Memorial Day sale: $80 shipped to the CONUS. Others PM me for shipping info.

Edit: ^^^ That's Parcel Post... If you want Priority, it will be $6 more. Sorry, but I was shocked when I saw the new USPS rates.:cussing:

I already have three of them and love them, but you may want to mention if it is version I or II. Version II has the ability to edit all parameters from the unit itself without having to use the software via USB. Both sound identical (really nice 32 bit effects - effect quality equals my TC stuff).

This one is the II. You can edit all the parameters using the 3 buttons and 3 knobs, but it ain't easy!

Re: FS: Yamaha Magic Stomp

I can vouch for two things:

1. The user interface stinks, but not unusable once you figure it out.

2. Most of the actual sounds are outstanding. If you use it for nothing more than an outboard reverb, you've got your money's worth. Phase, pitch, delay, chorus, distortion, and amp models are an added bonus. Just not all useable at once.

As much as mine annoys me . . . I'll never part with it.
