I have. Sort of, not to the point of differentiating which one's which brand.... but most people I know haven't heard of it. It's just English-speaking countries for the most part.

You want a heroics-premise graphic novel that'll pull you through the entire spectrum of existing emotions, brutally, time and again, and might just make you blast through 10k pages, yes ten thousand, in one sitting??? Go read GANTZ. And by next year, you won't remember who the Punisher was, either.

So based on your own bias and ignorance of comics outside of the ones you enjoy, you assume the rest of the world doesn't know a global icon like Marvel comics? It sounds to me that it's just you that doesn't understand who these characters are and the significance they've played in developing the entire idea of the comic book and super hero. Drop your arrogance, drop your condescension, and get out of the man's thread. If you have no interest in the guitar, that's fine, but to make ignorant claims like the ones you've made, that's just ridiculous.

Hey, people ASKED and kept asking about a little tiny side note I made about marketing stuff with symbols that only mean something in American pop culture abroad.... my initial suggestion, before it got derailed BY OTHERS, was sell international (with USEFUL advice on how to get it done cheap easy and hassle free, no added effort) because Hamer is VEEERY desirable abroad & this price will look crazy good to most foreigners... just warned that they might not know who this punisher fellow is, and everyone went ballistic over their favourite childhood reads. and btw, YES, the foreigners don't know, cuz there's no major movie and this stuff never got translated to most languages. Like, duh. And comic-book symbolica on guitars just doesn't do much on the foreign market anyway, I sell the stuff I should know better yeah? Special symbols graphics inlays of brands characters or cultural references, known or otherwise, mean very little in foreign markets, people just go "ok, whatever" even when they recognize it, and sometimes actually worry about it. However, a HAMER FOR $3K DOES GET PPL EXCITED - so I was saying advertise it as such, because that's the selling point here.

And skulls on such a guitar never worry anyone, so it's all good, too.

Seller wants to sell. Obviously. And I get bombarded, literally, by people asking for guitars of that class and cost on a daily basis doing international sales as a very small fry - while for Americans with their economy today, the sale of one such guitar is a FORUM-WIDE EVENT. feel a difference? sooooorrry for trying to help a guy out, ignoring the fact that he's practically my competition, and suggesting a few little-known tricks and secrets to the trade.
