Atlantic: Alvarez 12-string acoustic, FSb solos & crunch rhythm.
Santa Fe: '59n crunch rhythm and solo. Cleans: FSb and MXR Phase 100.
Advocate: FSb phaser riff, '59n low riff, FSb crunch layer.
Left Me Cold: FSb. All of it.

Guitars recorded with Shure Beta 58A from Crate VFX5112 (EL34 tubes), through ART TubeMP USB preamp.

very cool stuff! nice smooth overdrive ya got goin there. I like your voice quite a lot as well!

Thanks, man! It was about a year of writing/practicing the material, four months solid recording, a few hours every other day, but the mixing took even longer..thought it would drive me nuts...I started recording everything with the Custom in the bridge but it was little too mushy so I swapped it for the FSb. The FSb had fatter lowermids in my guitar, more grunty, but it was more articulate for solos so I ended up doing more takes. I used a few pedals here and there, but most of it is right into my amp, with a mic on the speaker....
