FT: 1989 MIJ Fender Strat w/ upgrades and OHSC

Up for trade is my 1989 Japanese Fender Stratocaster in Olympic White. I've upgraded it with a set of Lindy Fralin SP-42's, a Super Vee Blade Runner bridge, Gotoh tuners, and a special 5 way switch that, in the middle position, gives you the neck and bridge pickups together. Condition is 8.5/10. There are some dings, but they're hard to photograph because of the color of the guitar and my amateur photography abilities.

I just got one question. ARE YOU OUTTA YOUR EFFIN MIND selling that Strat???
Look, you can always route it an put a 2xP90 pickgaurd. IMO, youve gushed about that plenty here, and I'm sold on it..you should be too.

It's more of a feeler than anything else. Plus, I love strats, but I've realized that I like them better with a vintage nut width. I'd rather have a nice P90 guitar at the moment.

knock yerself out. IMHO your betraying the loyal girl.Route it, or save up and get a different one.Again, all in a freindly manner, but I really like that guitar, and always have..in fact, I was sort of offended when you put in that bridge, but I came to accept it was for the best.

I dont want to give the wrong impression. If Agile wants to move on, then best of luck. I just think that guitar is pretty speciAl..and I mean more than what its worth financially, and that you just couldnt run out out and replace it with a similar guitar without losing the feel and tone of the instrument.
I feel that, but maybe its time to move on, and I can't say, only Agile.

I feel it. The more I play it, the less I want to sell it. But it doesn't hurt to see what else I can get. In the mean time, I save up money so I can just buy the guitar I want. If I could, this is what I'd get. Unfortunately, he only wants to sell it.

I'm interested in the pickups and maybe the Bladerunner if you ever decide to swap them out.

Out of curiosity, do you have the original pickups and bridge, and is the guard original?

As long as I have this guitar, the pickups and bridge will stay with me too. And I don't want to part this guitar out. Sorry.The original pickups and bridge were long gone when I got it, and I assume the pickguard is original.

Fender Aerodyne Tele catch your interest as a trade? The neck pickup is a P90, which is why I thought of it.
