Trade this alder strat kit for a finished strat body. I will include a set of sealed gear tuners, rather than the open gear ones it came with. You'll have to drill the headstock for them, but they will be MUCH better than the ones it came with. It has everything needed to make a fully functional guitar. Could use light sanding and obviously a finish. if you want to get into guitar finishing/building, this is perfect.

Not too picky on strat body colors, but black would be awesome. Looking for MIM level if possible.

Re: FT: DIY Build-a-Strat Kit

What tuner holes does it have?

Is the neck pocket tight?

Is the tremolo route suitable for a MIA vintage Strat 6-point or something weird?

Re: FT: DIY Build-a-Strat Kit

Neck pocket is perfectly snug, but the tuner holes are the small bushing type (1/4" post) type tuners. I can include both sets of tuners so you can make the determination as to what type you want. Trem route is standard, and mounting holes are undrilled, so you can install nearly any type you want.

Re: FT: DIY Build-a-Strat Kit

Send me your addy and I'll send you this one day next week. All I know about it is that it is from the 80's and has a neck adjustment alot like an American Fender through the neck plate.

Aight, this for trade for anything cool. Pedals, pickups, etc. Hit me with a PM.

Re: FT: DIY Build-a-Strat Kit

how much would you want in cash for the kit? Also is one of the guitarfetish.com kits?

Re: FT: DIY Build-a-Strat Kit

No, this isn't a GFS kit. It's actual alder, and it's routed SSS. 95 shipped to the 48 states seems reasonable.
