MIJ vintage pink Shafer Rhoads style V guitar. This guitar is a beater. It has dings, scrapes, scuffs, scratches all over. The metal hardware has corrosion on it. When I got this guitar the fretboard by the nut was coming free. You can see in some of the pics the lacquer separation where this occurred. The one good thing about it was that the fretboard came off very cleanly and with enough of it so that it could be re glued and made secure. It has been played plenty since then and has been without issue.
The body is layered plywood I believe. The frets are in good shape and it could use a setup. I played it as is but I am not that particular so I had no problem making due.
The tuners are early 1980's non logo gotoh crown heads. They still function well. The pickups are slightly higher output and read in the 12-13k range.
The previous owner had some issues with the input jack so some of the wires were replaced as was the original input jack.
As far as trades I am not looking for anything particular. It can be parts or a guitar or a practice amp. I am also an avid angler and quality spinning or baitcasting rods and reels always interest me. If interested PM me and let me know what you have.
