Full Shred neck anticipation/confirmation

Since I should be getting my Full Shred neck pickup soon, I would like to pose to forum bro users a few questions about this particular SD pickup.

How is it's output and volume? How is it's overdrive of an amp? Does it balance well with high output bridge p.u.'s?

How does it sound against your fretboard? Mine's rosewood, but any 'board experience is welcome.

Harmonic content? Loads or do ya really have to coax 'em?

I drop all my strings one whole step, will the bass strings, in particular, be sloppy, as in, loss of bass-cial definition and or boomy?

How does the pickup feel? Particularly, if you use a bolt-on 24 fret neck - I would like to hear your response on this. Up and down the neck - high notes and bass notes, obviously.

Is it noisy?

How's it's clean tone?

Will it restore my belief in Seymour Duncan pickups once more?

If I come up with something else - I'll post it? Thanks dudes and dudettes!

I have a full shred bridge in the neck of one of my guitars. ESP 24 fret mahogany set thru neck. Its not as fat as a 59 but its very clear and works well with high gain. It is an extremely tight pickup. The rhythm tone is more useable than a 59n (too bass heavy) and the solo tone is hi fi and precise. The cleans are good but nothing too spectacular. Other neck pickups have exceled at certain things but the full shred is the all around best, at least in this guitar. Since you getting a neck version I imagine you'll have no problems with bass/muddiness and you'll probably have better cleans.

I have a Full Shred Bridge in my neck spot as well, and prefer it to the neck version. IMO, the neck version is kinda non-distinct from the 12th fret down, where as the B in the N is not. Soundwise, there's not that much differance between the B/N model in the neck. But where the B in the neck kicks, is that the middle position combining the B and N sounds killer, and is actually useable. Of course you have to lower the pick-up height to run the B in the N spot succesfully, but it sounds great.
