Full shred neck in bridge position...?

Hello everybody! I have a Full Shred set here that isn't in use, and I was wondering... how does the neck pickup fair as the bridge pickup in an H-S-S stratocaster? Mine has Texas Specials and I don't want a humbucker that will overpower them... I want an even spread of outputs.

And how does it sound?

How it sounds depends on your guitar's individual wood, your amp, and effects. Only you have that particular combination, so you'll have to be the judge. The neck Full Shred has about half the ohms rating, and a much higher resonant peak, meaning it will be much brighter.

As long as the bridge is hotter than the others, you can do it. Neck PU's have less windings than their bridge counterparts, so they tend to have more treble & clarity. If you're into metal, that could be fine. If it's not warm enough for you, try another magnet, like a high ouput A8. Remember that you can change the height of the bridge HB, so you can adjust its volume that way too.

Well yes... I know the bridge one is hotter, that's why I'm asking about the neck one. Don't want to overpower the Texas Specials.

I don't intend for this guitar to be "metal"... I use the strat for non-metal stuff. Rock and blues and such.

Anyway I was just wondering if anyone actually has expierience with the Full Shred neck in the bridge position...
