Full shred neck vs JazzN vs 59N vs AIIproN

Some players wrote that the Full shred N is a smooth and warm Neck pickup.
How is it compared to PAF-ish neck pickups?
From its values it seems to be bright as the Jazz neck.
I use the jazz neck in a mahagony guitar, i liked it, but now the Jazz sounds a bit too clear, not round enoguh. It is sweet, but i'd like to have a sweet, smooth and rounder tone for the neck position.
I already had a '59, but it was a bit too bassy (i don't mean dark).
The AII pro is round and sweet, but it's not the sweetness what i'd like to have and it's a bit dark.
The descritption of the Pearly Gates seems to be right, but i'm a bit confused because it's AII.
So i think about the full shred neck, but i'm not sure.
I don't like the full shred bridge, because it sounds too compressed.
Does the Full shred neck have another characteristics?
The reason is that i don't like higher output pickps at the neck position.
I tried a 59 Bridge and a Demon, and they had already too much.
Or should i try 300k pots for the jazz neck?
Would a full shred neck also be a good match to a Custom SH-5?

I use a full shred neck in my Gibson SG.
That thing is just sick, it's nice and clear; you can hear all your picking dynamics.
It's warm, but not too dark or bassy like the 59N.
It's got that neck pickup sound without sounding like ****.

Jazz's are kinda like 59's but more "hi-fi" clean sounding. They are also KILLER on way-detuned material. They hold it together and don't fall apart and mush out at all.

So does a full Shred Neck have a more PAF-ish voicing? Or more like a modern Humbucker? Is it very different compared to the bridge model?

Re: Full shred neck vs JazzN vs 59N vs AIIproN

I use a full shred in the neck in my jackson, but i can only compare it to the jazz, because its all ive used. i like it more than the jazz becuse the jazz sounds somewhat muddy to me.. jimmy is right about being able to hear all the picking dynamics and such. thats what i like about it. the jazz just didnt have what i was looking for. crystal clear pu w/warmth.

The Jazz is too muddy? The FS is crystal clear? How many clearer can the PU be?
But is the FS also smooth and round?

it depends on your settings, really.

if you are a clean tone fan, then the Jazz/ '59 is the way to go. these also do blues crunch well. if you are a high gain kinda person, you'd appreciate the Full Shred in the neck- it gives individual note clarity at high drive. i love mine to bits. however, i can't say the same about the FS bridge, it sounds entirely different to me...

Re: Full shred neck vs JazzN vs 59N vs AIIproN

If the FS bridge sounds different, then i might be worth a try.
I also don't like the FS bridge, so i would not like the FS neck, if it would be similar.

i thought i would let you listen to this. its a solo off a song called windowpane from opeth. its kind of bluesy/jazz rock whatever you want to call it. its a prs with the full shred in neck through a laney VC30. the rythym guitar is the same. Thats what a full shred CAN sound like.. hehe.

Sorry, the link doesn't work.
I think i should order to try it and then sell or trade it again, if i don't like it.
