Full Shred...SHREDS!!

Howdy all! I hope this new forum doens't crash too soon...

I just installed a Full Shred into the bridge of my ash American Strat as well as a PGn in the neck position (no middle pup).

HOLY SHRED!! This pickup RULES...some were saying it would be too bright, but it is perfect in terms of the highs in this axe. My sweep picking has never sounded cleaner...guess those Fender singles aren't exactly shred pups, eh...heheheh:D

Also, the PGn pup is just what I was looking for. It cuts nicely. It is smooth and full, complements the FS nicely. Definitely keeps the axe from being a one trick pony.

Anyhow, if you're looking for a shred tone, be sure to check out the Full Shred...I think it is one of the better pups I've tried.

Excellent ... I was worried about the Ash / FS combination as well ... but I'm glad to see another person happy with the Full Shred

My neck and fingerboard are both maple. Even so, the pups aren't too brignt. I've been using them with my practice setup, can't wait to try em with my Marshall Dual Super Lead:D

I am thinking about installing a push-pull pot though, in order to get more tones...
