Actually, the first time I had a set of FS pickups in a guitar, it was in my Les Paul.
I eventually put a set of Blackouts in that guitar but I still ended up keeping the FS and put them in my Moser. It sounded great in the Les Paul though.

i have decided based on everyone heres experiences with these that i will put one in my neck for sure.

im swapping the terrible emg hz h1s out of my esp mh.

im still unsure however, about my bridge. i want that iced earth rhythm sound, and at first glance this seemed to be it.

but alot of you are saying that it lacks the ballsy low e chug that im looking for.

should i just try it and see?

Full Shred in the neck and a Bare Knuckle in the bridge!

The FS in the bridge has tons of chunk! And when you tune down, it's even more chunky. Whoever said the FS is thin in the bridge was mistaking.

If this is for a Les Paul you might also want to check out the Demon in the neck position. Got me a lot of control back I was missing.

FS bridge / Demon Neck. :headbang:
Snowdog has a good point and I'd want to use a amp with plenty of low end balls. Sunn T.
