Full Shred with 6 fillister screws?

Has anyone tried this? Does it turn the FS into something similar to a hotter Screamin' Demon?

I'm sure it would do exactly that. The winds sound very similar. I haven't made that pickup, but I have put Demon screws in several pickups and it works very well.

I guess my next question is: How similar is a C5 to a Demon? I've only played a C5 a handful of times, but I love the Demon and the S Deco V.

Imo, that's one of Duncan's most common recipes. I think the Demon and Custom winds are either the same recipe or very close.

IDK. IIRC, the Demon is wound to around 10k.

If it gets some of the growl and openness of the Demon, I'm all about it.
