Fulldrive 2 MOSFET opinions?

I'm intrigued by the "smooth OD plus boost in a box" nature of this pedal, and wanted to hear the opinions of any owners here.

How are you using it? What's your rig? What is it *not* suited for?

One cool thing about that pedal is all the tone tweaking options, so no matter which guitar and amp you're using, you can flip switches till you've got the right sound.

Even though I've owned several versions of the FDII, I can never remember any settings I used, because it changed with my mood or the rig.

Re: Fulldrive 2 MOSFET opinions?

I think it's a great all in one solution to crunch and solos in one pedal.

I ran one with the Tele and a Princeton Reverb at a recent gig , and it was just perfect for all three sounds. Amp for clean, OD for crunch and the boost for leads.

All of it sounded great, too. No compromises for any of the three sounds. I ran vintage+mosfet settings, gain a bit less than half with the volume a bit higher than the amp clean, and the boost just enough to give it a bit less OD and more volume for leads.

It's my mid-hump, TS style lead pedal. I don't use it often, but it does what I want it to.

Re: Fulldrive 2 MOSFET opinions?

Does it lop off some low end like most TS-style pedals do? Does it behave well with both single coils and humbuckers? Thanks for the input so far.
