I run a Catalinbread Manx Loagthan into the red channel of my Mark V for when I want that "amp meltdown" tone. It's a thick, wooly fuzz based on the BMP circuit.
As far as fuzzes go, it's very easy to dial in and control, but as Christian says it definitely "takes over" the amp when it's on.
