Funky chicken-picked/tapped blues-rock jam with my Zoom looper/multi-FX

Another little blues/rock jam.. a bit more upbeat this time.







Same recording as the previous Zoom G1Xon jams so no major rocket-science involved lol. "Line-out" from the pedal into my digital handheld recorder's line-in using an FX patch cable. Single mono track. No pre/post prod.

Should have mixed the bass(sim) in a bit louder I think...guitar was my '94 Ibby Sabre..

Yeah...Sabre's are my fave guitars...wish I had a few more lol. For now I'm making do with this one and my 7 string

..that orange one of yours is super sweet..don't remember seeing any orange ones. I do like those old neon yellow ones a lot too..

You should do some more clips. Heck i should do something too. I got this rare pickup called a wilburn metalbucker and i was going to do some sound clips.

Man my sabre has been refinished by me, it was a boring green colour from factory.

It's been pretty easy since I got that little multi-fx/looper...15 minutes tops.. to play, record & upload/post :lmao:

Wow....that was a cool color/paintjob on the orange Sabre ...wish I had the space/skills to work on guitars

Do you know your arch enemy riffage? I have this riff stuck in my head, I can play it ''sort of'' but i cant for the life of me remember what song its off. i went to a megadeth concert about 6 years ago and i saw them then, I had to add that as you know its a bit out of character for me.

Arch Enemy? Yeah sure...but I'm not a mind reader..they have a ****load of good riffs

Not really big on melodeath myself...but Arch Enemy is one of the few bands I do like. To me AE sounds like an extension of the last Carcass album ...talking about Swansong, not the new one (...new one sounds like AE haha) ****, those Amott bro's are hard to beat.

Did'nt really care for the new AE one with the new chick singer though.. OK, I guess ...but her vocals kinda killed it & Chris Amott needs to come back...

You could do a rad graphic guitar project with limited space. You only need enough room to lay down a bit of newspaper and you have a work area. Buy a blank body and i will guide you :nana: to the ultimate rhapsody of fire custom. Doing a paint job like that orange one you need space.compressor,guns etc but their are other methods like staining and wipe on finishes that actually work well.

I was just recording that riff. its a bit shameful i will ahve to review it before posting haha. yeah rhapsody of fire strat. easy done.

I listen to 3 albums, '' blood almost came out my ear'' it was that brutal haha.

Bridge of destiny is the intro i had stuck in my head. Its done in some odd tuning i think. Sounds nothing like what i was playing ha. not to worry.
