I guess it depends on what kind of fuzz you want
Purple haze was fuzz with octave but it is a bitchin sound
Blue on Black by KWS his solo is fuzz and octave
David Gilmour uses a fuzz a lot, almost all the time
Cream was a fuzz face with the tone rolled back on the guitar
Siamese Dream by the pumpkins
also I don't know for sure but I think taxman on revolver had to be fuzz
I think of fuzz as a "looser" distortion if that makes sense, not as tight as distortion
hope that helps

Brow said:I think Clapton used Treble Boosters, not Fuzz's. I could be wrong, but I remember reading that somewhere.
Brow said:Alot (if not all) of the songs on The Smashing Pumpkins album 'Siamese Dream' feature a Big Muff/Creamy Dreamer Fuzz pedal.
Corbic said:Cool read, that did answer my question on what he used on the Derek and the Dominos Live at the Fillmore Album. I have to listen to some Cream songs again, try and find the fuzz pedal in there.
