I hope this doesn't turn out to be one of those DOH! type of posts :chairfall
I'm using an ADA MP1 and a Hiwatt 2000 pre - each FX loop is patched into my bay, and I'll patch in a lexicon pcm 81 . If I set the 81 as 100% wet, I get signal through the FX loop, but of course it's 100% wet and you don't want that. If I set the 81 as 0% wet, I get no signal going to the power amp.
This is with both preamps, so the issue is with the pcm81. Generally the PCM81 is designed for use with mixers and should be set at 100% wet, and the aux send/return handles FX level. Anyway to get a mixture of both wet and dry signals within the PCM81 so I can use with a series FX loop?
I've already RTFM and it's not apparent if this can be done...
Any help?
thanks
