FX Loop question

An envelope filter and octaver would work fine in the loop rather than the direct chain, right?
My Boss OC-3 seems to work in either spot. Try 'em both ways!

Re: FX Loop question

I have no real experience with envelope filters, but octaves, generally, sounds better in an amps effects loop.

And what about a Duncan Pickup Booster? Loop or chain?
You're supposed to put that first in line in order for the resonance switch to work.

Re: FX Loop question

Personally, I think the Octaver & Envelope Filter would work a little better in the signal chain rather than effects loop, but if you're getting the results you want running it through the loop, then more power to ya!

Only thing is my pedalboard for the signal chain is full. That's why I was wondering.

Time for a bigger board?
Well, I have 8 signal chain pedals, 3 FX loop pedals, and one undecided. I'm making a pedalboard for the FX loop pedals, I like to keep them separate. I have another homemade pedalboard for Rotovibe/Wah/Bypasser.
