Got her from a clearance sale from a local music shop (I got her for US$225), an epiphone 56' goldtop
now i need to change the pickups, what SD pickups should i put in ?

i dun like the hum it emits and its low output .... :smack:
prices of guitar in singapore and malaysia would be around the same
the orginal price was USD$450 (or around there) but this was a one off 50% clearance slae thus the price ...

P-90s tend to be noisy....
i have Duncan Antiquitys in my Hamer Special and they sound great...but still have to put up with the hum...

no hum p90s = sd stacked p90s, emg 81, 85, 60, 60a in p90 housing and dimarzios.

thing is, you will lose the essence of p90s going the noiseless route.

btw, some guitars may be about 10% cheaper while some cost more but selection of guitars in malaysia is way limited! fyi, sd pickups in malaysia cost about 15% more.

singapore is a better place for gear shopping.
