Re: G&L Dual Fulcrum Vibrato............
My Legacy Deluxe is quickly becoming one of my favorite guitars, and first one's I grab for. Who woulda thought that a maple veneer on basswood would sound great, but I guess Anderson, Suhr, and G&L figured something out. As for the tremolo, I think it's a different sound than Fender, due to the mass and density of the G&L bridge, but it also carries a beefier sound to the pickups because of that. As long as the nut slots are plenty wide and you don't have many wraps around the tuning post, it'll stay in tune under normal light useage. Still not made for divebombing, Floyd style.
If you like nice chunky C necks, buy the Legacy over the Musicman, for sure. If you like narrower smaller necks, get the MM.
I've got a C-5 trem and 2 Fat 50's in my G&L right now, but MRID just sent me an EVH to try out in this guitar. I'll hear it tonight with the EVH. The playability of the guitar is amazing, but I'm going to try every pickup combination I can till I stumble on the one that KILLS in this guitar.
