G&L PTB + Everything Axe...

I've recently fitted the Everything Axe set in my G&L Legacy, and have it wired standard "Strat" style. So, I have tone controls for middle and neck, and nothing for the bridge. I was planning to swap the middle and bridge over, so that the middle has no tone but the bridge has, which is easy enough. It got me thinking though, would the G&L PTB wiring work ok with the Everything set?

My Legacy was wired like a Strat when I got it, so the only time I got to hear the PTB system in action was on a Tribute-series Legacy a couple of years ago. I remember it being a very cool setup, and thought I might be able to rewire mine with the Lil's...

What do you think fellas???

I think the normal Legacy tone control setup is infinitely superior to the standard Strat setup.

Yeah, I just wonder if the Lil humbuckers would be ok with this setup?? I've got standard Strat wiring, with 250K pots at the moment.

I'd think so. Certainly worth a try, if only to ditch the dreadful standard wiring.

Of course, I bet it's a real PITA getting hold of 1Meg pots!!

It is in (IIRC) the reverse-log taper G&L demands!
