I tried a Tribute Strat once. Most beautiful blue finish I'd ever seen.
Guitar was completely and utterly 'meh' to play. Setup was decent, she played ok, but nothing special. Sound was not great unplugged, which is usually a dead deal for me.
I honestly prefered Mexican Strats to this Tribute, though then again these are more 'vanilla' looking than G&Ls I guess.
Keep in mind this was just ONE G&L Tribute I played...
