Is there any collectibilty to this guitar? It's local to me so I might try to check it out. I figure that TwilightOdy... is the person to ask for this one. I don't know anything about the seller but I tend to check craigslist daily.

Re: G Lynch ESP/LTD gl 500 Kamikaze Question?

Virtually NO collectability value- don't buy this guitar thinking you're going to get a ton of cash later on down the road. Be wary- I've read some horrible reviews of this guitar! LTD (low cost Korean-made ESP) usually makes good quality guitars, and the reviews might be based on a bad sample.

The build quality and parts quality will be less than a real Japanese/USA made ESP Lynch Kami. If you notice, there isn't even a pic of a Kamikaze pilot! Instead of paint graphics, LTD uses water decals, covered with a clear finish to save costs. It had cheap-o "Duncan Designed" pups in it, but the guy swapped them out for a JB. A better pup no doubt, but not a Screamin' Demon!

My advice- go to eBay and find a REAL ESP Lynch Kami! I've seen good ones (little wear and tear) go for $850 or so. The difference between the guitars will be significant!

Good Luck, Bro!

The graphic on the LTD guitars, as well as the quality of the wood, is laughable, it's so bad.
Not collectible, and I wouldn't even buy it, personally.
