2nd hint: ferocious metal plugging straight in with no drive pedals needed my Plimsoul is GONE

3rd hint: 30 watts

my TSAmp is in a laboratory being looked at by top men. If it ever comes back to me it is true love; I hope it does. It was good while it lasted in any case. But I haven't got time for fleeting love so I got the replacement hookup. It's not as sweet as the Ibanez TSAmp that it is replacing, and no 6v6s are involved, but it's got twice the power, twice the beef, 10 times the available distortion, and since I don't need pedals to attain some of the best metal crunch I've wielded (like I needed to do with the TSA) I think I did good for a straight-across swap to replace a broken amp, long story short. Great, great backup for my Pittbull.

Guess what it is. Title is the 1st hint and it's not a Fender.

sounds pretty good; it didn't take me long to yank the preamps and replace em with old stock

the metal is getting done; I never knew these things got so freaking aggressive

every month you get a different ho-hum amp and talk about it like the sky parted open and the Sexwolf Goddess of Heavy Rocks sent it to you directly to spread the gospel of tone to the world

then a month later you get something different and say the exact same things about it

i'm not mad at you, i'm just noticing a pattern. you should write for a guitar magazine.
