Gang of 9 - Delays

I figured this might be a good way to turn folks onto some new pedals by listing your favorite delays that you own/use. List them up.

Your 9 go to Delay pedals.

1. Free The Tone - Flight Time
2. Source Audio - Nemesis
3. Strymon - Timeline
4. J. Rockett Audio - Clockwork
5. Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man 1100-TT
6. Free The Tone - Future Factory
7. Diamond - Memory Lane Jr.
8. Pigtronix - Echolution 3
9. Mad Professor - Dual Blue Delay

In before Securb....

Here are my favorite 9 delay pedals :D

etc etc ......

I own/use 2.

Boss DM-2w
Joyo Aquarius

These 2 I used to own/use and are fantastic.

Boss DD-2
Ibanez DE-7

Own and use:

Strymon El Capistan
TC Electronic Alter Ego
Visual Sound Tap Delay with Time Bandit BPM controller
EHX Canyon

also have a myriad of other famous delay emulations in my Zoom MS-50G.

I like me some delay.

Line 6 DL4
Line 6 M Series
Line 6 HX Effects
Fractal AX8
Fractal FM3
SD Vapor Trail
(rack) Oberheim/Gibson Digital Echoplex Pro

- EHX Memory Man (great sounding delay)
- Boss DM-2 (probably would like the DM-2w even better, but I've never used one)
- Boss PS-2 (This is a fun and glitchy digital delay with self oscillating capabilities. Does crappy glitchy pitch shifting.)
- Boss PS-3 (A little more polished than the PS-2, but still a fun digital delay to play around with. It also does crappy pitch shifting!)
- Seymour Duncan Deja Vu (Has been on my board for more than a decade and does everything I want from a delay pretty well)
- MXR Carbon Copy (something that sounds nice about this one)
- Strymon El Capistan (to my ears this is a pretty darned good tape delay emulation)
- Line 6 DL4 (old and cheap, but still does a great job if you are up for replacing the switches in it)
- I guess I'd go with a basic DD3 as my final one on the list. Serviceable and reliable.

Favorite all time hall of fame: my modded big box EHX DMM. I’ve tried smaller and more convenient versions (including a 1100TT) but keep coming back to it.

Also like:
BOSS DD3
BOSS DD5
el Cap
Korg SDD3000 (but there is no way to fit on a normal board)
Quite impressed with the Helix ones in general

Less popular ones I also like that I feel are underrated:
EHX Memory Boy
Tech 21 DLA
Alexander Sky 5000

I have coming this week:
Source Audio Collider
BOSS DM2w

I would be curious of your thoughts on the new J Rockett DMM type pedal. It's very good. That Source Audio pedal is fantastic. You will enjoy it I am sure.

Generally speaking, I consider the Boss DD3 to be the GOAT of pedal delays for their quality and fundamental contribution to the present state of the art.

and i consider the MXR Carbon Copy to be the best sounding of all the analog bucket brigade pedals over the history.
