Good to see the DLA there!

I would be curious of your thoughts on the new J Rockett DMM type pedal. It's very good. That Source Audio pedal is fantastic. You will enjoy it I am sure.
Thanks! I’m very hopeful.

I’m very curious about the clockwork but I haven’t seen one in the wild yet. It does sound great in the demos.

Generally speaking, I consider the Boss DD3 to be the GOAT of pedal delays for their quality and fundamental contribution to the present state of the art.

and i consider the MXR Carbon Copy to be the best sounding of all the analog bucket brigade pedals over the history.
We can almost agree on the DD3 :)

And the MXR CC is definitely a classic.

No worries if you have them or not. The numbers I put in these posts were a fair number I figured people would own now or in the past or would have played enough to form an opinion. The point is to turn people onto new pedals or new to them pedals with a little nostalgia dust thrown in for some seasoning.

Well then...

Let me add:

Line 6 DD4 (New or Vintage)
MXR Carbon Copy
Boss DD20

It's cool, but doesn't do much in dA gA][nZZZ department.

I want my delay to have slamming gA][nZZZ.

I have the perfect delays for you:

2. EHX Memory Boy/Toy
3. Ibanez soundtank digital delay.

I

For a long time I barely used any effects aside from a noise gate.

Yeah, I was full amp pre and post drive and reverb only for a decade.....

but also the decade where you needed a full stack and where you needed to turn up to 10 or maybe 11 was a thing..

That is always a thing....a good thing! :D

I went crazy on pedals the last 10 years I guess. I never used them much in the past and when I was a kid I chose to save for a good guitar and amp and couldn't really afford pedals on top of it but when all the new stuff started hitting I began trying things and experimenting around with different sounds and playing styles, etc and began having fun with them. Information overload also caused me to buy a lot of stuff just because I couldn't make a decision or try a lot of this stuff out in a store. I just said the heck with it and bought them all. They are fun for sure but 90% of my core is a great high gain amp, a 4x12 cab or more and a noise gate to keep the chugs tight and crisp. Anything else is gravy.

The Ibanez Soundtank Digital Delay was the first delay pedal I ever bought. I miss it. If Ibanez released it again in a metal housing I'd buy it. Those Soundtank pedals sound good but the quality of the plastic sucks. All the ones I've had stopped turning on after a while.

Same! Only I've still got mine, it still works just fine.

The actual switches on the PC board were prone to failure, too.
