Re: GAS attack i cant control

I'm wanting a Johnson strat, a Johnson/Axl musicman knockoff bass, and a cd player for my truck.

Re: GAS attack i cant control

I want an old BF Fender tube amp, and a Marshall 1987x or jtm45 half-stack. Unfortunately neither of those will be coming this Christmas unless Santa frequents this board and sees my post.

Re: GAS attack i cant control

Right now I'm GASing for

Guitars:
- Warmoth: Hollow Swamp Ash Strat body (3 tone Sunburst), Rosewood Board on a vintage tint satin maple neck (standard thin), small frets, Callaham Bridge / Graphtech saddles, SSL-1/SSL-1/SSL-3
- Single bucker MM Sub 1
- another 7 string

Amp-wise
- Rockerverb 50 Head (could this be a High Gain 6V6 for theProphman?)

Pedal wise
- I'm craving a little wah ... I'm curious to get my hands on one of the Fasel's from Dunlop ...

But ah HA! .... I can't really justify spending that kind of money on my guitars and such until possibly next year.

Although I am on the lookout for a beater acoustic for under $100 ... and I'm not too fussed about condition as long as it's playable ... just need an acoustic right now (Neighbors + Condo's thin walls)

You're crazy. I sell Johnsons and AXL's where I work, and I can't stand 'em. For the same price, you could pick up an SX brand guitar and bass from www.rondomusic.net for the same price, and they're way better.

seperately speaking, my christmas list is currently a JB Junior bridge pickup and tube screamer. probably a black pickguard too. that's the realistic part. if I can add the stuff that I want too, I'd throw in a Peavey Classic 30 and a Gibson ES 335 faded.

I have confessed.

Re: GAS attack i cant control

I aint crazy. We sold them where I worked as well, and they're pretty damn good. Plus, the necks are alot better for me than SX's.

Re: GAS attack i cant control

I want a LP Jr as well...plus a Bogner 2x12 and some sort of rediculously high gain amp to complement my Shiva.

Re: GAS attack i cant control

Beandip- each to his own man. With no harsh feelings I concede to your personal tastes, particularly because I was realizing that I don't really play the Johnson electrics we have at work... just the acoustics. but I'm sticking to my guns in saying that there are better things out there for the same price, at least where those are concerned. If you like the electrics though, I can't reasonably argue.

Re: GAS attack i cant control

the electrics I like, the acoustics on the other hand......eh, I think a blind man could make 'em better than some of the ones they put out.
