GAS: PRS S2 CUSTOM 22 - Advice Needed

Question for all the forum Bros out there; anyone have any experience with PRS S2 Custom 22 models?

I'm not too concerned with the electronics or pickups (as they will be replaced) mainly concerned with build, feel and playability.

My main axe is a Gibson LP studio deluxe with 60s slim taper neck. Im interested in it being an alternate primary. How does the CU22 neck compare?

I figured I should go with 22 instead of 24 due to familiarity.

I saw a few go for around $800 used, new they go for $1400. not trying to spend much more at this time. (I know I can get 90s customs for around $1500 used). Problem is I can't currently justify the price point with my current situation. This might not happen for a few months or might happen sooner, just doing research now.

I have (and am selling) the Standard Satin version of the S2 22. It looks like the Customs have flame maple tops, while the Standards don't, but otherwise the specs look the same.

It is an awesome guitar. I just cannot get along with the body shape (personal preference), otherwise it would be my #1.

The stock pickups are actually really good interpretations of PAFs. I would have kept them if I kept the guitar.

Build quality is first-rate. It may be the only production guitar I've held that felt like a boutique. A lot of this impression probably came from the natural satin finish, which is somewhat like the Gibson stain/faded finishes. Most USA PRS stuff comes covered in gloss, which doesn't feel good to me; this more understated approach feels a lot classier.

The neck does indeed feel like a Gibson 60s profile. It may have the PRS slightly thinner nut width than Gibson's (not sure), but if so, the difference isn't big. I prefer the Gibson 50s neck, and the PRS neck felt slightly thin to me, but if you like the Gibson 60s neck, you should be right at home on the S2 neck.

My eBay listing for the guitar has more pics/info, but feel free to ask any more questions.

Not to **** on stratguy23's lawn and this is a different guitar anyway but these guys are running a pretty good deal on the the SE 22 at the moment. Just sayin' because you mentioned budget... I'm not even sure they can ship to the US.
