GAS strikes again! ESP EC-1000 yummy

ESP EC-1000. I may get this guitar over the next few months, will probably sell my Schecter C-1 plus to help pay for it. Anyone own one? What do you think of them?

I've owned 4. I had a black one and red one when they first came out, sold them. Then went full circle and bought another red one and black one. I just swapped the hardware putting the gold on red and the black on black and sold the red one. So I still have the black one. Great guitars for the money.

I've always said that if I ever decide to get an LP-style guitar, I'm gettin the EC-1000 and not an Epiphone or Gibson.

They just seem to have a lot more bang for the buck.

mmmmm,,...

i have one in amber sunburst and love it to death. the look is killer, the flame is amazing, and all the abalone is un pertrusive and looks awesome. it plays very nicely, and it very fast and feels great in my hands. i can get allmost any sound i want from blues to country to an allman brothers type sound to rock to hard rock to new rock to metal. anything......

best guitar in the $1500- price range, imo.

I have played quite a few of those guitars and they just didn't play right for me, but don't go by me. I would say get out and play some because you might love it! We are all different.

Yeh im in that same boat for one aswell... But i think im gonna save up more and go for the ESP standard Eclipse II..

I just got GAS for an alpine white Gibson Les Paul Studio, so I might have to sell my EC-1000 black with black hardware. If ESP would come oput with a white Eclipse I'd be all over that !!

Love to, unfortunately that carries a price tag of around $2800, I could get a Gibson Les Paul custom for less.
