Ha ha, yeah and then the day you are meant to send it to me, the guitar gets lost in the post right? Lol.
This guitar is a "Play Me!" guitar. Plus it's a USA Hamer which many people on here rave about, for only £1,500 including shipping & tax.
An Ibanez Jem costs that in the UK and there's no competition.
No. I would hand deliver it....I've always wanted to see England!
I've got a Hamer Sunburst Archtop. Love it to death. It's all mahogany (nice cherry finish). It was one of two prototypes. One was done in mahogany and the other with a maple cap, according to the folks at Hamer I spoke to. There's a pic in the "Wall of Fame" section on the Duncan website. It's a few pages in (Page 19, top middle).

Ha ha, ok then you can buy it for "me". Lol.
Your Hamer sounds beautiful! but i had a quick check on the Duncan WoF & it only has 13 pages, have they re-arranged them?

+1USA Hamers are among the best guitars in the world.
Beautiful guitar but I wish they went back to traditional inlays.
I've never seen the vintage inlays, but personally i like no inlays on the fretboard.
Question - I heard a rumour that Fender bought them out.
Is this true?
I wonder if that will boost the resale on Pre-Fender Hamer's?
Why aren't the Hamer's worth more than they are (when sold as used obviously), is it because they don't have the prestige Gibson & Fender have with the players who've played a GLP or Strat?
Having said that, PRS seem to do pretty well & USA Hamer's are as good as their high end guitars. PRS haven't had the number of "famous" players Gibson & Fender have had either.
Strange, good for us though!
