GAS'n and need some advice

Hey Folks,
I'm GAS'n for this Tele body http://www.ebay.com/itm/261452449788?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

What I need to know is, do you think the Avodire top (Blonde Mahogany) will make this a dark sounding guitar. It will have a full Maple strat neck and probably vintage spec'd pups.

That top looks maybe 1/4" thick, so the tonal influence should be pretty minimal.
