Gator pedal totes

I could use a power supply & board... These Gators seem to roll both together for a pretty reasonable price. Power supply has both 9 & 18 volt taps, powers like a dozen or so pedals, can it handle MXR, lame 6 & the regular 'ol Boss stompboxes? Build seems to be 'decent' quality too...

The small one is probably 'enough' for most things, but is it "too" small? I'd need to get at least 4-5 healthy sized pedals on there with hopefully a bit of room between them. Like a Univibe, few boosters, delay or two... tuner & maybe an A/B or looper.

Thoughts?

They're a lot cheaper then a pedaltrain... for a reason I guess.

Thankx.

Re: Gator pedal totes

Actually real question is how good is their G-Bus-8?

That too!

I figure it's at least as good as a Boss daisy chain & better then the 1-Spot thing... can't be worse?!

So nobody, eh?!

I might just have to roll on one...

Re: Gator pedal totes

the one spot absolutely rocks...it powers everything on my PedalTrain, including a Line6.

As far as the Gator, I'd still recommend a Pedaltrain Jr....new for around $100...paying money for anything under that, you might as well make it yourself.

Re: Gator pedal totes

Gators are $100 or so for the small one... including the power supply!

I've had nothing but noise & breakage problems with the 1-spot. Its ok. Was thinking about one of those Dunlop bricks since I have a uni-vibe which is 18-volts or maybe a Pedal Power... about $100 on their own, and I dunno... that's a lot of money IMO to power some pedals.

I could build a supply for a lot less then $120!

Re: Gator pedal totes

I would think that thier pedal board are good based on thier cases. I've had a few of thier cases over the years and they're great. I'm sure that the quailty is up there. If you get one let us know, I might get one.

Re: Gator pedal totes

Definitely let us know if you get one. I really need/want a good pedal board with power supply, but I don't wanna fork over the coin for an expensive one.

Who else makes these, at least at decent prices?
