just a notion, but a black pearloid pickguard would look nice wrapped around those hummers....

The guitar came stock with an HH-floyd setup so the pickguard is original.
Thanks... but black pearloid and red is actually one of my LEAST favorite combos! :laugh2:
Ohhhh man they're NICE. Just the right kind of bass response (tight enough but not dolphins-butt tight) nice clear mids and crisp, syrupy highs.

The Floyd was stock but the PAF Pros were not... they were originally Fender DH-1s. I bought the guitar off ebay about 3 years ago for $675 w/ case.
It's part of the Fender Floyd Rose Classic Series. Basically American Strats with a Floyd and an HSS or HH setup.

Awesome job, man. The pups and knobs set off the white perfectly. I don't know if you could find a nicer strat.

I'm always looking and I can't find one of the same type that compares to this one. It's got some mojo in it! Considering I bought it over ebay (with detailed pics) the fact that I got a real nice one was pure luck. It could have just as easily been a dud.
