...the trouble with me making "custom" jags is that other than the finishes, there's really nothing I'd really want to change on one anyway :laugh2:

That IS a checkerboard pickguard. It's just completely matched to the body's paint
I made this about 3 years ago before I even started playing. Back when I was way more into Ska and Punk than anything else... good times... : private:

You know, there's something to be said about simple elegance. Bigsby's on strats are neither simple or elegant. Sometimes that box people are so hell bent on thinking outside of was place there for a reason. :laugh2:

yeah, maybe if he didn't phrase it in a way that made it sound like there shouldn't be a bigsby there because it's a strat. Which is just not very cool. There's no rules when it comes to guitar.

hehe, I can understand it if it's a functionality issue...which a lot of people complain about....but saying it shouldn't be there because it's a bigsby on a strat is just stupid. opening your mind makes life a lot more fun.
He was right... it's a strat, and therefore a Bigsby has no business being anywhere near it.

I just think bigsby's are ugly, and on a strat, are even more ugly...I just dislike trem/vibrato units in general, useless for the kind of music I play.
