I didn't say a damned thing about how awesome Broderick is, though I WILL say the dudes that slag him for having no feeling should compare him to MAB...and you point to his 8 finger tapping to prove your point...I'll just leave that here, but you ought to really think about how you present yourselves in comparison to the 60s/70s rockers that slammed EVH and, oh, George Lynch for having no feeling back in the day.

I did'nt say he has no feeling..I said he has ****loads less than George has (..& that goes for 90% of other guitar players on the planet). I did'nt say Broderick was bad either..just very highly overrated. I have nothing against 8 finger tapping..especially since I use it myself all the time. That said yeah..he's a bit too clinical for my tastes & his tone is'nt my thing either (too thin, trebly & sterile & not very musical to my ears ). There are plenty of ultra modern hyper-shredders I admire (Steven Forte, Mike Romeo, Paul Wardingham, Kiko Loureiro among many others). He's just not one of them.

What I DID say was that Unca George flat sucked in that video. You can pull up 80s/90s/2000s/from-4-years-ago vids all day and yep, he can rock. All I'm saying is the last one he did, he did NOT make a good showing of himself.

Did'nt warm up? ..felt awkward maybe? ...just a bad day? ...we all have them. That really was'nt at all indicative of his abilities.. & definately not a valid example of how far he's "slid" nowadays.

I think I see a pattern, though. George seems to be lackluster nowadays when he's sharing a stage.

What I meant was it's not an indication of an "amazing guitarist"...there's way more to awesome guitar playing than 8 finger tapping... (& yeah... that's where I come in )

Why does everybody have to jockey to be the alpha male around here?

Nobody really cares, so why constantly snipe, snark and offend our way across the site? Ugghhh... I can't stand it.

Can we not class this place up a bit?

Just being obnoxious & having some fun

Frankly I sensed negative vibes, was offended & could'nt stand it when this turned towards dissing Lynch and his playing skills, comparing him negatively to other players etc. I thought it was about his pickups. Some of us actually started out playing guitar because of guy's like him...so yeah..that's when i felt all the negativity myself...guess it took you a while longer.
