Has anyone heard/played/seen a Claim guitar? I don't know much about them besides there a German made shred guitar from the 90's. Up till just now i have never even seen a photo of them just a tiny catalog cover one the vintaxe website.

Enjoy these photos there almost as rare as the guitars themselves.

I vaguely remember them getting reviews in European guitar magazines. (The Charvel-inspired 4A, for example.) Don't recall ever seeing them in any shops.

^^ Well, given that they're so obscure, probably very few people have played one, let alone forum members, so it's a bit difficult to say something meaningful :).

On the other hand, the shredder market has been saturated for the past 20 years; it's a pretty tough gig to make it, I imagine. They may be excellent guitars for all I know, but it's a tough crowd out there, when you have names like Ibanez, ESP, Jackson, Charvel, and Schecter ruling the roost.

I just like unique shred guitars from a bygone era. Guess that's why i like shadow guitars. Anyway the pictures are there just to enjoy don't feel you have to reply haha.

Another rare unique guitar from a bygone era is the Tommy Special strat which was also hand forged in Germany.

So many people in the superstrat market... doesn't make a ton of sense to me...

A guy walked into my shop the other day to sell an apparently hand-made Strat copy that he said he paid $10,000 for in the 90's. That made my heart sink because I couldn't find any information about it anywhere and we couldn't offer him anything for it.

Did this $10000 dollar super beast have a name on it? Gee For $10000 it would want to give out head jobs as well as play music
