Get In My Band is a little dream of mine to give musicians a place to connect with other musicians. It is part bandmate search engine, part media and part social network.
I've spent so much time finding and qualifying band members over the years that I think it's about time we had a better way to hook up with our musical brethren. And the flyers were just a waste of time for me, usually only got a call or two and they ended up having a different style.
So with that, I would like to invite all SDUGF members to test out my newest site, Get In My Band.
It's very simple. Sign-up and then search for what you are looking for. Need a drummer and a bass player around New York who play Metal? No problem. The site automatically embeds your Soundcloud and YouTube links so that people can see and hear the musician in question. A section to describe your gear and experience.
You can hook up with recording engineers, band managers and of course, other musicians. Currently we support US, Canada, Australia & Great Britain.

Since you are the first ones, don't expect to get any results, so you will likely need to create two accounts unless you are searching in Santa Barbara, Melbourne or Minneapolis where we have the test accounts setup.
Known issues:
-I'm still outputting the lat/lon in Australia so your search results will require scrolling down until I am done testing the matching system there.
-Layout may change to allow for longer descriptions.
