Getting An Invader But..

Hey, I'm Getting an invader pickup for my bridge but i don't know which pickup should i put in the neck with it, i would like a great tone for metal/punk but also good with clean. The guy at the store said i should put a sh-14 custom 5 in but i want a secand opinon on that.

I never heard of putting a C5 in the neck ... but I think the '59 is to my ears the best Neck pup I've tried.

Great cleans and I use it for metal ... but I don't know about punk.

I would go with either a 59, PG, or Jazz at the neck to balance it out. All of these pickups will give you great cleans.

Hey Thanks a lot, I think im going to go with the '59 it would sound pretty good im playing through a marshall avt150 half stack so with a '59 and invader i think it would sound pretty good

washburn idol mahogany body rosewood fretboard i've decided to go with the invader in neck and custom 5 in bridge but i have till monday to decide if thats what would sound best for the stuff i play. which is mainly punky/metal palm muted stuff

I played in a punk band with an Invader/'59 combo, and it sounded great. I don't think you can go wrong with that combo for your purposes.

Hey thanks a lot, I think im going to go with the '59 in neck and invader in bridge but im worried that the '59 won't have good distortion i'm not very famaliar with that pickup.
