GFS polepiece thread

hi, do GFS use Asian (M3 x 0.5) threads on their pole screws? And has anyone tried using american-made (5-40) screws in GFS?

I think it would be a safe bet that they use the M3x0.5. GFS pups are made in either Korea or China. I've heard that Artek and G&B are their suppliers. To be sure, I would e-mail Jay at Guitarfetish-he is good about answering tech questions.
