GFS Power Rails?

Re: GFS Power Rails?

I have installed the VEH twice for people and that GFS pickup sounds fantastic. One of my software developers just put a Power Rails in his Schecter and is raving about it. I have not heard it myself. They are cheap enough to roll the dice I would say.

Re: GFS Power Rails?

I'm looking for a low cost alternative to an X2N. Just don't care enough to go DiMarzio for the price.

Re: GFS Power Rails?

I’m planning to put a set in another project body & neck that I just picked up within a month. If you’re not in a big hurry I’ll let you know in a few weeks.

Re: GFS Power Rails?

Sweet! I think I’ve seen you mention wanting one of those before. Nice score! [emoji1303]

Re: GFS Power Rails?

Had one for a year or so....jut getting around to putting 11's on it (for Motley Crue) to tune to D.

I'm going "Bad Kitty" with it.

Re: GFS Power Rails?

i normally would not go for dimarzio, but in this case the x2n is the only choice. Wait till one comes up second hand.

Re: GFS Power Rails?

I really wish I'd bought a Hello Kitty years ago- second hand in a store, but they were still available new.

When you said x2n in a Hello Kitty, it made me think Tom Delonge Strat.

Anyway, I know some of the Chinese pickups are available on eBay, I've been looking at some in green, and there was a place doing them white or black for less than $10.
