Jupiter Rails are B(L)ack!

Now the Jupiter Rails are available with actual black rails, I wonder if other Rails models will have that as an option? Certainly looks cool!

Wish this could be an option to order with chrome or black rails. Some guitars with chrome hardware might look better with the chrome rails, and the same thing with guitar with black hardware

Are they poweder coated? I would imagine the black would wear off pretty quickly especally for someone like me who keeps his pickups unusually close to the strings. I willstick with silver rails for now.

Well, actually, I don't know how they made them black. Hell, they could be black all the way through. Dunno how durable they are unless people start calling about them and returning them due to coating coming off. My guess is that they tested this kind of stuff.
As far as an option on other pickups, I know polepiece color was an option covered by the Shop Floor Custom program.

8. Pole Pieces. You can choose between Gold, Nickel or Black poles and Studs, or White, Black or Gold cap screws for Invaders.

Maybe new Rails pickups are covered by this too? I don't know- I'd contact them.
