Possibly an odd size magnet as distance between the poles are greater than a traditional humbucker .
unless some one have a pic inside of one one can only speculate that if it uses a common size ceramic magnet i would use a metal spacer for the gap between the poles or have magnets custom made the right size .
I would say the magnets are custom made to fit it's not that big of an expense to have magnets made of spec .
