Gibson 496/500 and Gretsch Filtertron Sets

Hi all I have two sets of pickups that I'm looking to sell.

First up is a Gibson Ceramic set (496/500) that were stock on a 2006 Explorer. You probably know these are the high output pickups Gibson puts on some LPs, Vs and Explorers. Sold Pending Payment Receipt

Next is a set of HS Gretsch Filtertrons that were stock on a 2001 Gretsch Silverjet. These are used throughout the Gretsch line as re-issues of the original Gretsch pickups for "that Great Gretsch Sound".

Both were in perfect working order I just changed them out to get some different tones.

I'll sell each set for $75 plus shipping in the CONUS.

I really don't need any thing in trade but if you have something interesting I might listen.

what color are the 496/500?
Are these the two conductor wiring or 4 conductor wiring?
How much wire left on both? (Can you please measure them?)

Are the screws included?
Are the mounts included?

I will get photos / measurements this weekend but the Gibsons are both black and uncovered. I believe Gibson installs these as two conductor in their guitars but I will double check.


The Gretsch are chrome.

Both were un soldered by a pro installer and not cut. Inlcudes screws (and springs I think) but not mounting rings.

Photos will include all answers.

you dont have to....but I'd appreciate it
if you can find out how much ohms on both the bridge and neck pups.

Don't have the ohms on the Gibson pickups but the lead lengths are 12 inch for the neck and 13 for the bridge.

What are these like? Are they fully potted Japanese made? Any idea how they compare to the historical American filtertrons?
