I was told that this model is a cross between a JB and DD tonally and is frigging hot? sounds good to me

It's more like a JB than a DD I think. It is definitely hot, but still retains that Gibson warmth and thickness. Not overly bright and harsh like some ceramic magnet-loaded pickups. I think it's the hottest model Gibson makes. Also, guys, I was wondering if a 500T would sound good in the neck with a Custom in the bridge. Has anyone tried the 500T in the neck of a les paul?WICKED LESTER said:I was told that this model is a cross between a JB and DD tonally and is frigging hot? sounds good to me
