They call it the Standnad for a reason... it sets the standnad for all other guitars

I didn't want to out you .
But yeah
you right man
hehehe
Now I only "play authentic" TM again.
Narrator - "If Steve had only known there were still imposters hiding in his guitar collection."
This is a problem because Gibson has failed to do both A & B above. They have, in fact, chose to basically say they own a shape and raise the prices while the quality goes down.
It strikes me that Gibson has a little bit of gall, complaining that someone is copying their body shape, when they themselves, have produced Stratocaster copies under the Epiphone name. And they come from the factory with "Gibson" on the truss rod cover. (I have the black one.)

. . . with that ugly Epi "breadknife" headstock on it purely for the cringe factor!
Technically, they call it the "Batwing" headstock. And funny how tastes differ. I think it's one of the best looking headstocks I've seen. At least, on a Strat-style axe.![]()
Truthfully, it's not *that* bad on a Strat-type, but how well do you like it on the LP I posted? LOL!
I kind of want to order a Chibson Less Small with that ugly Epi "breadknife" headstock on it purely for the cringe factor!

I think that's "photo-shopped."
