Just saw these on the Gibson site. Either I missed something, or they flew way under the radar. Either way, they aren't half bad looking. Not priced too bad either. I dig the Explorer.

I found a few of those on ebay and was sad I missed them. They're pretty bad ass even with the little gov't seal on them. A bit pricey from what I saw though.

Lol . . . Government series. Solo for hours while saying nothing! With a neck as fast as congress! Twice the price for half the expected service/quality!

My thoughts exactly, if I were Henry, the very LAST thing that would fly on my watch is a "Tribute to the US government that ****ed us over" guitar....

Yeah, just looked into it, it`s more of a "See, we were in the right the whole time, thanks for nothing" deal, what with being made from the same wood stock that was seized..

Just reading that made me almost 100% certtain I need either a LP or an Explorer very soon....esp. since the prices are downright fair.
