they have one at pro music here in des moines and seriously, the body and finish is unbelievable, beautiful finish but omg - the headstock! Hideous!!

the ones i've seen have had an amazingly beautiful finish on them... but that headstock. horrible! that would be the only $2000+ guitar that i'd seriously think about sanding the headstock off and repainting it. then with my luck i'd be accused of making a fake or something!

The theory would be so that it doesn't look like a regular LP. But what's wrong with a regular headstock?

do you like the chickenfoot logo on the headstock?? We dont. The guitar otherwise is one of the best looking LPs Ive seen in awhile.

the logo on the headstock looks out of place with the rest of the guitar. I would still buy the guitar (Regardless of all the hate, i still enjoy listening to chickenfoot) if I had the money.

The logo looks much better on Satch's guitar, but I would never buy a satch sig. Neck too thin, and basswood...

I would buy one if it wasn't for the headstock. It's gorgeous otherwise. I'm currently looking for the something similar in a regular Standard.

gibson's rootbeer finish is amazing! not sure if his is a rootbeer finish, or just somewhat close, but it's easily my favorite higher end les paul color. not sure what production models it appears on though

It's not your guitar; nobody asked you what you wanted it to look like. There are other rootbeer Les Pauls out there...get one of those.
