Gibson p-13

[Gibson 1964]

I just acquired a p-13. I know there recently has been talk of degausing being slow, but the information I have says this is a 1959. As the magnetic fields oppose on a p-13 like a p90, I believe, it seems that over the last 50+ years there might be significant enough degaussing to warrant a recharge.

What do you guys think?

If the pickup functions and sounds good I'd leave it alone. If it doesn't function it does function but has low output of other sonic issues I'd look into "repairs" but I would mess with anything trying to fix something that's not broken.
