Gibson P-90s?

Hey dudes. Does Gibson make several varieties of P-90, or are all the p-90s that come on all Gibson guitars basically the same? They never specify. I just bought a new Gibson Les Paul Junior and I'm curious about what is going to be in it. Any ideas? I know Gibson makes p-100s, but i'm only referring to p-90s.

Re: Gibson P-90s?

They only make one model of P-90, there may be some slight variation within that. I doubt much though. That's why we have Duncans!

haha, well I generally like the gibson p90 sound a lot, but i DO have an SD Vintage Soapbar pickup here just in case :)

And be careful - P-100's are NOT marked to my knowledge. Only the lack of hum gives them away....

Re: Gibson P-90s?

I'm pretty sure the sounding like crap should clue me in as well. I'm buying P-90 guitars now because I've fallen in love with the P-90 sound. If I don't hear that from this guitar, I'll know something is wrong.
