Gibson p94 experince

Hi all, has anyone tried gibsons p94(humbucker size p90) are they any good?

I have a gibson les paul junior 2019 with the stock p90 which i think sounds awesome, i have 2 les paul with humbucker and thinking of switching the pups for the p94 in one of Them if it get close to the sound of p90

I’m a fan of the strokes. One of the guitarists uses them on quite a few songs. I don’t think it sounds exactly like a P90s but it’s a valid sound. I’ll see if I can get you some strokes footage that shows the guitar being used.

It's pretty easy to watch and see which guitarist is producing what sounds in these two songs:

It looks like he is playing a GFS Dream 90 pickup in that 2nd clip. This is one of my favorite P-90 pups for a more vintage tone. For a fuller more middy tone the Mean 90 is superb. I love both of these. Not only some of the best P-90 tones available in a humbucker format/size, but at 1/2 to 1/3 the price of the Gibsons. And they are available in a variety of aesthetics to suit your taste.
